SENSITIVE ECO SYSTEM
Air
Less gas burned to keep the atmosphere cleaner.
- We can reduce emissions of carbon dioxide to make the air we breathe lighter.
- Our company’s consumption of methane gas has been reduced by 9.5%.
Our plant uses the most modern technology available to optimize
the production process and reduce its environmental impact.
The eco-sustainable development of our textile Company has reduced
its consumption of methane gas by 9.5%, which equates to about
1000 tonnes of CO2 less in the atmosphere in 8 years.
We respect the air that we breathe
Global warming and climate change are largely caused by increased quantities of carbon dioxide in the air. Here at Eurojersey, we have reduced our consumption of methane gas by 9.5%. This is a significant result as it means that over 8 years, 1,000 tonnes of CO2 have not been released into the atmosphere.
We managed this because we have always been committed to optimising the manufacturing process for Sensitive® fabrics. For example, our plant is equipped with an HRS fume purification system, which allows a significant amount of heat to be saved and reused. In this way each month we save a quantity of calories equivalent to approximately 25,000 cubic metres of methane gas that we no longer need.
At the same time the HRS purification system captures the condensate from the fumes, collecting approximately 1,500 litres of oil each year and preventing their release into the air we breathe.
We respect our local area
This is why we keep our manufacturing plants and work areas running at peak efficiency, performing periodical checks and routine maintenance in accordance with the ISO 14001 International Certification System, which ensures that all control systems are functioning correctly to reduce environmental impact.
